Leah Dortmann

HYPER, Co-Founder

With over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry, Leah holds a Cert III in Fitness, is a Master Female Trainer through the Women’s Fitness Academy, and is fully qualified in strength programming and group conditioning. She’s also a certified cycle instructor and spent five years as a Nutritional Well-being Coach, helping hundreds of women optimise their health from the inside out.

Her athletic resume speaks for itself. Leah has qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships and knows firsthand what it takes to push limits, stay disciplined, and perform under pressure.

Before entering the fitness world, Leah served in the Australian Army and later as a Correctional Officer in a maximum security prison. Those high intensity, male dominated careers shaped her unshakeable resilience and drive; qualities she brings into every class, every program, and every client interaction at HYPER.

Beyond the gym, Leah is also a global force in the pageant world. She coaches women across Australia and internationally, and in 2025, made history as the first and (so far) only Australian Mrs to win an International title: Mrs Universal Petite.

At HYPER, Leah leads with both strength and heart, empowering others to train with purpose, unlock their potential, and become unstoppable.

But what truly sets Maurece apart is his ability to connect. He has a unique way of making every client feel instantly comfortable, like they’ve known him for years. It’s this rare gift that makes him a coach for all levels, and the reason clients not only get results, but keep coming back.
